LDN was founded in 1996 in Nordhorn, Germany, with the aim to develop, manufacture and supply specialty in-vitro diagnostics test systems and innovative technologies to the clinical and research laboratory markets. From the beginning the determination of biogenic amines with immunological test systems was in the core of our business – where we are nowadays the world wide market leader. Integral part of this success are e.g. their assays for the quantitative determination of free metanephrines in plasma, the catecholamines, histamine and serotonin.

Services

1. To ensure the high quality in times of the skill shortage, LDN started in 2013 to offer a three years vocational training for lab techs. Our machinery includes an ELISA plate coating machine operating at up to 3000 plates per day and an automated filling capping and labelling machine capable of working at a speed of 50 vials per Minute. At our main offices in Nordhorn, we have 18,000 sqft of floor space and over 2,700 sqft of cold stores.
2. Currently, LDN research and development department has 9 employees working on 2nd generation products as well as on new parameters and technologies. All of our R&D work is focused to meet the needs of our customers. Current R&D projects cover the biochemical pathway of Serotonin and the improvement of the diagnosis of neuroendocrine tumors.
